Current Opportunities

Honorary Secretary

As part of the Executive Committee you will be play an important role in the day to day running of the Society. You will be organising meetings, managing the membership database and making sure all of the Society’s records are kept up to date. If you’re highly organised and have administrative experience we’d love to hear from you.

Treasurer

As part of the Executive Committee you will play an important role in the day to day running of the Society. You will be working to ensure that the Society’s finances are managed effectively. This will include developing financial procedures, undertaking day to day financial processes, proactively supporting income generation and reporting on income and expenditure. This role would suit someone with budget management experience and an understanding of charity finance.

Membership & Marketing Officer

In this role you will be supporting the Executive Committee in growing membership. You’ll be writing content for the website, you’ll develop the bi-annual newsletter and you’ll act as a key contact for new members. You’ll also organise the annual programme of activities including our lecture series. If you have marketing and events experience plus a passion for archeology and local history, perhaps this role is for you.
